Estadio Akron in Zapopan, Jalisco, opened in 2010 as the home of C.D. Guadalajara (Chivas) of Liga MX. The stadium was officially renamed in 2022 after a sponsorship deal. The venue features a distinctive volcanic rock-inspired exterior design that pays homage to the geography of the Guadalajara region.
